AT&T at 8989 Highway 92, Woodstock, Georgia.

I purchased a otter box case for $37.50 on 4/24/2018 the case didn’t work out for my needs. I wasn’t able to get back into the store until 5/9/18. On that day my experience walking into the store was I created by one clerk that was surrounded by 3 employees. Each employee saw I had a return and didn’t even want to reach out to help me... I was greated by the manager John and he greated me and said someone would be right with me as he casually walked to the front counter and then stood there uninterested in helping me. Finally a gentleman who was training decided to help me as he began to start the process it took 2 clerks and then finally the manager was forced to step in to then tell me he can’t do the return. Now I knew from the beginning they didn’t want to issue the return , I get it I worked for a authorized retail location (Prime Communications) it hurts the store numbers.

I persistently asked for John (the manager) to please refund me because I was just recently a victim of fraud and I needed the money available until the banks make it right.

John then told me I can’t help man... I then spoke up and informed this manager that he could have the power to do it he just didn’t want to. John, the manager then agreed saying yes it would hurt the store numbers and he can’t afford to do that.

Customer service is dead! Seriously dude!

What happened to making your clients happy and your the corporate company you represent AT&T on the front lines.

I know that I wasn’t 100% in the right given I was 1 day out of return policy but as a business owner this was a ridiculous way to treat a customer!

My opinion is that as a manager you should not have a nonchalant attitude, and in this case I feel that there was no desire to help me from the beginning of this interaction .

Moral of the story is.... never burn a bridge with a customer or at least offer some solution.

The manager of my store knows that we do all sales final but will still go out of his way to continue to keep the customer and find a way to make the customer happy... this is called customer service. I know it seems small but To me the way I was treated was unacceptable and I will never go back to this store.Sorry John... but not sorry.
